About me
I consider myself a hard working, enthusiastic and amiable person with excellent communication skills. Much of the work I have undertaken previously required self motivation, organsisation, initiative and a high degree of responsibility. I have had experience working with a vast array of people, building rapport with them and feel confident in assessing client needs. I have a graphic design degree and have worked in both teams and individually to a client brief and understand the
relationship between company and client. I have undertaken some freelance work since leaving University, working mainly in print/advertsing/brand identity and have also been on placements in design studios. During these placements I was making design amendments, conceptualising, copywriting, producing pitch moodboards, taking and sourcing photographs for design use and helping with various design tasks. It was during this time I and the opportunity to assist a creative project manager with sourcing, research, budgeting and new business enquiries also. I have had my own work published in an international magazine, working for clients ranging from Lynx to Brahma beer and have been exhibited in shows in Brighton and London. Most recently I have worked on a project for the BBC's Culture show. I am keen to expand my skills set into other areas and would eventually like to move into art direction.
