About me

I started my career as a Receptionist which allowed me to learn great personable skills by being at the front end of the company. I was the first point of contact for all enquiries/visitors and through my desire to progress and develop, I worked my way up to Office Manager. Here I learnt leadership skills, operating a small team of administrators, including front of house staff. Both of these roles gave me the experience to work independently and as part of a team.

Following gaining a level 3 NVQ in Business Administration, I was promoted to work as the Personal Assistant to the Director of Development. This was a complex role that allowed me to gain one to one experience with a member of senior management. Here I was able to provide a high standard of support and discretion to the role, making me a reliable and trustworthy colleague. Through this role I spent a lot of time liaising with partners and stakeholders, generating business for the company and arranging events and exhibitions to promote the company.

After 13 years of working for my current employer, I am seeking a new career challenge and believe the variety of skills I have developed can be adapted to a new role in any industry.
