About me

I come from an extremely creative environment; having graduated with a BA degree with honours in textile design at Central Saint Martins, London. During my degree I specialized in print, weave and embellishment.

I am currently in employment with CC (better known as Country Casuals)as an assistant buyer on the petites department; a position which encompasses business and design- something which I think is an additional skill to bring with me in my career.

Although having started my career in buying, I am keen to get back into design, as this is where my passion and creative experience lies. Alongside buying, in my position at CC I work closely with the designer putting together the mood/trend boards, selecting prints and trims, putting together design packs and selecting overall range each season. I also assist in re-colouring prints and work closely with the print suppliers in the UK as well as the far east.

I make a conscious effort to explore the latest key trends, colours and fabrics in the market. I also have a good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

I believe that I have the creative skills and capabilities that enable me to make a significant contribution to the team.I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm.
