About me

I have recently finished my degree in Packaging and Graphic Design at Sheffield Hallam University and am now looking for a chance to use and develop the skills I have learnt within a professional environment. Part of the reason why I chose to study packaging design was because I felt it incorporated a wide range of different design disciplines such as graphics, illustration, 3D form, logos and typography, branding and advertising alongside packaging design. Therefore I have acquired a variety of skills which I feel give me a broader perspective on design as a whole.

During my course I was required to create a range of designs from both set and self-created briefs and am competent throughout the whole design process. I have good relationships with both clients and fellow students and was often required to devise and maintain project plans to complete work within strict deadlines providing me with excellent time management and organisational skills. One of my main skills, however, lies in establishing strong brand identities which are then reflected throughout all aspects of a design and effectively relate to the target market.

Above all I am a very organised and hardworking person and would tackle any project or challenge with good initiative and a strong creative flare. Design, especially packaging design, has always fascinated me and I would love the opportunity to start a career in this industry. I know that given the chance I would prove how capable and dedicated I am.
