I am very interested in speaking with you about my employment as a Mid-weight Interior Designer, and hope that you will give my candidacy a strong consideration. My credentials include over 4 years experience in architecture and design. In my last role as an Interior Designer and CAD Technician with GJF Ltd, I amassed a number of achievements, which included; being promoted to the head of the design department, creating concept, detailed drawings and 3D visuals for a vaulted home cinema and lobby area project, as well as working with a company architect and creating a proposed extension for a £1 million pound 6 Bedroom property project. And in my current position as a Project Designer, I have had the opportunity to work on listed buildings and basement excavations.
Throughout my academic pursuits I have attained a number of qualifications, furthering personal and professional development, including; a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture from the University of Bedfordshire, complemented with a Foundation Diploma in Interior and Spatial Design from the University of Arts London.
I have excellent business acumen to ensure that all requirements are developed and implemented in compliance with organisational policies and best practice. I am an accomplished communicator, with a proven track record of consistently meeting and regularly surpassing demanding performance goals.
Alongside my experience I have developed a robust technical skill-set through becoming adept with various tools and techniques, including; Vectorworks, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and Auto CAD. With experience in a variety of roles, I have obtained solid skills in; project management, leadership, problem solving, and delivering creative and innovative ideas.
