Good Afternoon Creativepool.

I understand at least one staff member may have the daunting task of ploughing through stacks of applications, so I wanted to make the job much easier for such a person to realise I'm the ideal candidate for this position:

Skills

Experience writing for a previous publication - I have over 5 years experience writing for publications.

Understanding of how to spot trends - I have had my content go viral on more than one occasion (I can obviously prove this).

Excellent written and communication skills - Examples of my writing are below and if you were to meet me in person you'd understand I'm a "people person".

Passionate about working in a small team - Bouncing ideas off other creative people is something I love doing.

A Plus

Strong eye for selecting imagery - I'm also video director so I have a vast understanding of composition & how to frame pictures.

Beginner skills with Photoshop - I'm not the best with Photoshop, but I'm great with Photoscape and Pixlr.

Active online presence & following - I have over 1.5K followers on Twitter, Over 6.5K subscribers on YouTube and over 1.3K fans on Facebook.

Writing press releases - I have done so in the past.

Flexible attitude and open to taking on more responsibility - The more responsibility the better, life's not exciting when one stands in the background.

A Little About Me:

I'm a social media wizard who can write and communicate in various styles - all depends on the message I'm trying to get across and the characteristics of the people I aim to communicate with.

During my tenure at Jump Off TV I curated between 7-15 detailed articles and opinion pieces a day on the latest news and stories that pose value to the audience of the brand, whilst also having to teach and edit content submitted by the junior news staff.
