About me

I am a very creative, enthusiastic and out-going/fun individual who enjoys a challenge and feel I could offer a great deal to your company. I believe good communication and people skills are very important in any business, and are definitely a strength of mine. My previous experience has also shown me to be both self motivated as well as a successful team player, my flexibility proven by my ability to adapt to any design requirement (from advertisements, event branding, education material and magazine layout to larger signage and van graphics etc).

During my employment at Paignton Zoo I progressed from junior designer to having the responsibility of managing and running the graphics studio, comprising 3 designers and a graphic artist. I also liaised with clients throughout the Zoo and external printers, sign-makers etc. Being an organisation affected by seasonal factors, certain times of the year were much busier in Graphics than others, therefore meeting deadlines under pressure is something I dealt and coped with quite a lot.

Barker Brooks has offered me invaluable experience in the time that I have been with them. I was inspired by their forward-thinking attitude and high standard of design output from the outset. I have benefited greatly from being part of a team of such highly motivated and interesting individuals who have driven me creatively and further encouraged my drive for perfection and acute attention to detail.

In this fast-paced studio I have met and overcome a great number of challenges and have thrived on such experiences so would seek further challenges in this new role.
