About me

I currently work as a freelance publishing professional with
extensive experience in project managing, editing, copywriting and
subediting. My clients include the BBC, Royal Mail, the National
Maritime Museum, Directgov, Harper Collins, Adam Smith International,
Dorling Kindersley and Conran Octopus. I have 17 years of experience in
publishing, eight of which I have been working for myself and building
up a list of high profile clients. On top of my writing, editing and
publishing skills I also have experience of managing teams and staff at
a relatively senior level, including handling budgets, staffing and
schedules, as well as providing creative solutions.

Working freelance for the last eight years has enabled me to work in a
variety of environments and roles and has helped me to build on the
experience I gained while in permanent employment.
