About me

I am very creative and graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons degree in
Contemporary Textile Practice where I specialised in Textile Design for
Interiors. During my degree I developed my creative skills to a high
level and have become proficient in a number of techniques and design
processes including screen-printing, stitch work, drawing, photography
and CAD Work using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 software. I have a good
understanding of trends and colour trends, having produced mood boards
throughout my course and I am competent at producing CAD visuals of
room settings.

Since graduating I have been working as a freelance designer for a
company based in London. I create designs for contemporary fabric
collections, suited for the home textile industry. I have developed my
skills as an innovative and commercially aware designer. Photoshop has
enabled me to experiment with design layouts and colour combinations,
and I have the experience to produce a design in repeat for commercial
use. I am currently receiving tuition in Illustrator and In Design. I
am proficient at editing/ retouching images using Photoshop.
