About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a 21-year-old female who is set to complete a BA (hons) in Journalism in June of this year (2007). The decision to undertake a journalism degree was taken due to my love for writing, which has been nutured and enhanced throughout the duration of this degree. I have a fluent and versatile writing style, and I can write to suit a wide ranging audience. During the second year of my degree, I undertook an elective in creative writing, and it was here where I learnt of my interest in copywriting; being given a brief exhilarates me, and I thrive on the challenge. I am currently working part-time for a successful children's party organiser's, and have worked on numerous projects which have so far involved me writing a proposal for a new business venture and re-writing the copy for the website.

I am aware that I do not have an immesne amount of experience, but I am sincerely passionate about writing and am keen to learn, and I believe that this in itself, stands me in good stead to become a successful copywriter. I am eager to embrace any opportunities which may arise as I am hungry for experience and I know that I definitely want to carve a career for myself in copywriting.
