About me
My names Lamarr Campbell and I have Professional experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, Video Producer and Photography experience to whether it be shooting or editing.
I have experience shooting on DSLR's mainly but, have had some experience using the Blackmagic 6K Pocket Camera.
I have a proven ability to work well within a team and under pressure with a flexible, creative attitude. Over the years I have learnt to accurately colour match video footage to retouched still imagery and operate the various different cameras, organise rushes, maintain a good Final Cut Pro workflow and export all work in appropriate formats for use. I am extremely proficient in using the full Adobe Suite and Final Cut Pro X to edit and create any type of professional looking video as I have been using it for a number of years and studied Media Production from High School straight through to Coventry University where I attained my degree in Media Production. I also have experience colour grading within these programmes to ultimately produce the best looking quality Video my client requires and ensuring it is above industry standard so they are always happy.
Video Producing
I thrive at organising the logistics of video shoots, events and other creative endeavours. I have a unique way of communicating with freelancers, suppliers and talent when it comes to creative projects I aim to set the bar way above average with my high quality & professional approach.
I am experienced in creating and managing the budgets, assisting in technical set up for video shoots and other creative projects and also I enjoy organising and working on creative meetings to aid my team in brainstorming ideas and problem solving. On previous shoots I have been appointed to deal with project paperwork including health and safety, service level agreements, freelance contracts etc...
Shoots I have been apart of I've had the opportunity to work and assist across all elements of production from pre through to delivery, attend shoots and be part of the filming process on set it gave me the chance to learn a wide range of skills that are essential for a career progression within this creative field.
When it comes to social media I have solid understanding of and enthusiasm for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. I have previously managed social media platforms for big UK artists on a day to day basis which involved me developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and engagement as a whole, Analysing the performance of the social media strategy in place and reporting to the management periodically ensuring that I outline any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan.
I was creating captivating content for Artists social media channels, which may included coming up with creative posts and multimedia content, I had to stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies which is quite easy for me as I am always on social media in my own time and this is where I discovered how beneficial it is to oversee the competition and their social media campaigns to draw attention to their brands, this way I learnt how to set measurable goals for campaigns and later measuring how successful we were in achieving the goals set.
I have shot a load of Music Videos & Promotional videos. Below are some of the popular credits I have which are; Midas The Jagaban, ZieZie, M24, Big Tobz, Steel Banglez, Natalie Okri, Ramz, Sneakbo, H Moneda, Simz & Boss Belly.
I am not just about doing a job and ending it there, I love meeting artist/clients and building long lasting relationships with them so that not only do they use me for their videos once they keep coming back because they respect and appreciate the professional relationship we've built.
