About me
I am a curious passionate designer and maker. With a background in both Graphic Design and Interaction Design, I am a creative, conceptual thinker as well as a technologist in the making. My skills range from the Adobe creative suite to basic coding (HTML, CSS, Arduino, Processing). With a focus on user centred experiences, I aim to challenge the industry by pushing the possibilities of every project.
I have 2 years agency experience, working at Kubik design agency as a Junior designer. Collaborating closely with and user experience specialists, fellow designers and developers, I was able to learn from every field and grow as an interactive designer. An example of some of the work is the fully responsive, Bonus website. My more recent Interaction Design Communication degree allowed me to study human centred design on a 3-dimensional layer with interactive Arduino based installations and a DIY hacker mentality. Studying the future of technology and the Internet of things gave me a better understanding of the expansion of current user experience trends. "The Riddler" project, for example, portrays my ability to compartmentalise, analyse and transform a high-tech physical interaction process into simplistic low tech ones. This interactive social game also reflects my skills as a conceptual thinker and trait as a puzzle lover. My versatile portfolio shows my ability to adapt to every brief. Be it the people-centric view of connecting people and brands or the human-centered technologies of the web and the digital.
By portraying my ability to blur the lines between usability, creativity and technology I am able to present myself as both a strategist and an innovator. I hope you give the opportunity to prove that in person.
