About me

Lainey is a tenacious storyteller with an endless appetite for new knowledge and experiences. Driven by her passion for all things film and television, she has professionally assisted in casting offices, talent agencies, and on over 40 TV/Film/Commercial sets in Los Angeles since the age of 16, which has supplied her with a variety of industry education and experience.

After a few years of steady work in front of the camera on a variety of TV shows, web series, and independent films, Lainey knew she also craved the opportunity to create her own stories. Her first larger-scale project behind the camera was a female-driven comedy web series, "Cast Off," which she co-wrote, co-produced, and co-directed, in addition to casting and starring in the series.

In 2015, Lainey left for England, where she spent three intensive years at the University for the Creative Arts, directing, writing, producing, and casting several short films. During that time, she also worked on other filmmakers' sets in a variety of production roles, and was a production assistant for various professional promos and music videos in London. Since graduating with her First-Class degree, many of Lainey's projects have now gone on to festivals worldwide.
