Dear Sir/Madam

In response to the job listed I would very much like to be considered for the position of Junior 3D artist. Please find the submitted CV and portfolio for your consideration.

I have been studying 3D modelling, games engines, and animation for the past five to six years, both as a hobby and in education. I have focused on studying Autodesk 3D Studio Max & Zbrush and have an in depth knowledge of their tools and functions including modelling, rigging, animation, texturing rendering and lighting.

I have also studied Games Design at Gateshead College at a College and University level for the past 4 Years; I have a Distinction Level 3 BTEC in games design and a Level 5 Higher National Diploma in creative media and animation for games. From I was employed as support teaching staff at Gateshead College in their games design classrooms, there I demonstrated Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Zbrush tutorials to large and small classes of up to sixty students.

I actively educate myself in all areas of 3D, CGI and games engines in my spare time; it is my most adored hobby. I have always strived to be in working in the 3D art or games industry from a young age and believe that I would bring dedication and enthusiasm to your team.
