About me
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for the role of Conceptual Copywriter. Currently, I am a Lead Copywriter for a busy content marketing firm, and I believe my experience from both this and former client-facing roles makes me well suited for the position you have available.
Currently, I am responsible for generating ideas for features, landing pages and news articles for a diverse client base, and bringing these ideas into fruition. Developing these concepts to fit agreed briefs, I tailor each article to the individual needs of each client, including ensuring it will appeal to their target audience and achieve specified goals, such as SEO, product awareness and conversion.
To create these pieces, I liaise directly with clients, both in terms of brainstorming ideas and pitching concepts, as well as working closely with the account management team and fellow members of the editorial department. In addition to these responsibilities, I also proofread colleagues' work on a daily basis, manage our departmental style guide and contribute regularly to company blogs.
Working from home, I am self-motivated, used to managing my own workload and adhering to strict deadlines. Previously, I have worked in a client support capacity in a busy, high-pressure office environment - something that imbued me with the ability to speak to clients confidently and clearly, and enhanced my problem-solving skills.
On a more personal note, this role appeals to me on a number of levels. I love working on new concepts and generating ideas with colleagues and clients, while I find seeing these through to completion immensely satisfying. The idea of working for a non-profit organisation is also a huge draw. This sounds like a really exciting opportunity, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Kristy Moore
