After 20 years as a journalist, I'm exploring new opportunities for powerful storytelling.
I'm passionate about how a story can transform an experience. I'm developing several immersive audio tour projects that are designed to augment the experience of a place.
I've studied strategy, marketing and organisational structure in order to repackage my skills as a content strategist, helping brands tell better stories. As more and more brands become purpose-driven, this work becomes more powerful and more important in my eyes.
Along the way, I've discovered how stories can become a bridge between organisational silos and deliver benefits not just to customers but to the wider business - in the form of employee engagement, better employer branding, investor communications and PR. And done well, a good content strategy harnesses existing resources more efficiently so it costs less - not more.
