About me

Since finishing my HNC Graphic Design course at Bristol City College, I have worked as freelance on several projects. For example, for Sul'Art Valuing Cultures for whom I designed a series of leaflets and a poster for their campaign to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Slave Trade Abolition. Other freelance projects have included collaborations with local artists to produce logos, CD covers, and private business cards. I have an interest in graphic design software and have independently learned how to use the additional graphics softwares "InDesign", "Flash", "GoLive", and "Dreamweaver".

As part of my HNC Graphic Design course, I developed a portfolio of study projects including company branding, mailshot advertising campaigns, magazines, and flyers. These projects taught me about the graphic design creative process and gave me experience using the graphics software "Photoshop", "Illustrator" and "QuarkXpress".

Prior to the HNC course, I completed a Master Degree in "History of Art" at the University of the Basque Country, Spain and the University of Cagliari, Italy. I believe this has been a great advantage to me as a graphic designer as I have an extensive knowledge of aesthetics, iconography, and artistic movements.
