About me
I have the idea and I get it made. Those are usually two different people, I'm both.
I work across music, fashion and film, which is a polite way of saying I have spent a meaningful portion of my adult life at 5am. Creative direction is the part people put on moodboards. Production is the part where someone has to ring the location owner back and explain why there are now forty people instead of twelve. I do both. I think doing both is the reason the work actually comes out looking like the deck.
Concept and creative direction for campaigns, brand films, music videos and runway. Treatments and shot scripts. Casting, styling direction, and the taste calls that come with them. Then the unglamorous half: booking photographers and models, negotiating rates, contracts and usage, building the crew, holding the budget, running the day, and delivering the assets on time in the formats people actually asked for.
I built 82K from the ground up, which meant owning the whole thing: visual identity, tone of voice, positioning, and the guidelines everyone else works from. I have produced live events and runway, where the edit is the show and there is no second take. I have worked in editorial as Editor-in-Chief, which taught me more about deadlines than any production course ever did. And I have delivered e-commerce and campaign content at retail cadence, which is a completely different sport to making one beautiful film a year.
