About me
I, Kobolt Design, offer graphic design services and creative visual communications to clients in the UK. I'm based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, and have many years of experience as a designer.
Kobolt creates logos and complete corporate identities; corporate literature like brochures, magazines, newsletters, leaflets and other marketing and sales material; Squarespace websites and bespoke websites; event graphics and collateral; photography and illustration. Print management.
Helping clients to promote their brand through creative and effective visual communications, I provide businesses with professional graphic design solutions, both for print and web or interactive media. I work closely with clients locally, nationally or even internationally to increase awareness of the company, improve its standing in the market and to develop the brand. I happily work with small start-ups or established companies as well as larger organisations. I also do some work for charities.
I am not shy of collaborating with other skilled creatives to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
The customer base is situated throughout the UK and includes travel and hospitality industry, railway and transport sector, law firm, business coaching and consultancy, sports clubs, professional speaker, trades people and arts.
I have been involved in the graphic design market for many years and previously worked for, amongst others, Cox Kommunikasjon (Norway), RPE Advertising Agency (London), Virgin Atlantic (Creative Services, Crawley) and Siebke Design. I was partner in Woodhouse Creative LLP from 2008 to 2018 before returning to life as self-employed.
When not designing for clients I practise image making with my camera, Photoshop and Illustrator. Select images are, and further will be, uploaded to Alamy stock image library.
I also practise guitar but with a more questionable result. I am still trying to figure out whether I'm left or right-handed; my pen says left-handed and my guitar right-handed. The confusion unfortunately leaves me somewhat technically challenged on this otherwise wonderful instrument. Another hobby is drinking real ales. That I can do with both hands. I'm now going to have a stab at making the stuff.
Cheers,
Johan
