ABOUT
KISS is an award-winning B2B marketing agency driven by a pursuit of exceptional results. Since our inception 15 years ago, the world of communications has shifted beyond recognition, and our work was out of step with our external brand positioning. Simply put, it was time for a refresh. So we took on our hardest and most demanding client ever, ourselves, to deliver a brand refresh.
KISS has always been passionate about the power of creativity. We’ve been creating transformative, visionary work for our B2B clients for over 15 years, but our own brand felt dated and didn’t align with our evolved service offering, or reflect our creativity.
Spurred by the belief that to be at our most creative we needed to have a home that acted as a creative hub KISS moved into a beautiful historic building in central Cambridge at the end of 2021. We craved a destination for ideas and collaboration, that could also catalyse relationships with clients. Working with a designer we transformed our interior space - old grey walls and sofas were replaced with a bold yet warm and inviting palette, and stunning new furniture throughout – all with sustainability front of mind.
Alongside our physical reimagining, we began to evolve our brand positioning. The name KISS had equity so our challenge was to take all the ‘positive’ associations of the existing brand and view it through the lens of the world we now live in today. A sophisticated colour palette was developed, punctuated with joyful neon accents, aligned with our interiors with a new brand language across every touchpoint.
We took ‘x’ (the universal symbol of a kiss)) and used it as a device, mathematically multiplying, and at its most emphatic becoming ‘to the power of’. KISS became ‘The multiplier agency’ and the x became a brand icon we could use flexibly across channels. Our theory of multiplication was born: creativity x technology x data = results. The Cambridge ecosystem has been a multiplier of brilliant minds for centuries – inspiring our confidence to go further, bolder, and claim our place in this innovative city that prides itself on its global impact.
After six months of intense behind the scenes work we launched our new website in January 2024, supported by an awareness campaign on LinkedIn. Conceived and nurtured in the small hours; in the cracks of light in between client work; on long runs; weekend walks this was a passion project on a scale we have never summited before.
The new brand - well received by our clients and team alike - represents a sense of pride in KISS that was there all along, but long overdue its debut to the world.
