About me

After graduating with a BA (honors) in Graphic Design from Vaal Triangle, I started my career working as a junior designer at Young & Rubicam Johannesburg. This provided me with a solid foundation of the essential workings of the industry. I then worked as a graphic designer at TBWA\Tequila , developing and maintaining brand identities. I enjoyed designing a dynamic range of marketing products pertaining to the unique needs of each client. This included annual reports, logos, direct mailers, brochures.

Whilst agency experience taught me the importance of teamwork, as well as working within client specificity, my time as a freelancer in both Portugal and London gave me numerous opportunities to incorporate elements of my own interests, such as photography, printing, and film, into my work. These opportunities allowed me to gain versatility, and explore a variety of stylistic languages.
