About me

Afternoon,

I'm geeky, dedicated and interested in technology (and tea, but apart from making cups of tea, I don't think that's very important!)

I love the internet, technology, and most importantly the future of these. My dream job would encompass those three mediums, and I am dedicated to making this happen.

My dissertation topic was 'The use of social media in the marketing of a business' and this is something I have continued to research and keep up with since finishing University. I also administrate and use Social Media for the promotion of national voluntary organisations- something I not only enjoy, but helps me improve my skills and keep up to date with the developments within the industry.

Outside of Social Media my interests are in photography, driving and volunteering. I am very passionate about volunteering and encourage as many people as possible to get involved.

Sector Experience

The Scout Association - I am a volunteer Media Development Manager, where my role is to gain media coverage and aid with the promotion of the organisation in the Wakefield area. I administer the Social Media and act as the areas photographer, attending events and capturing the activities in order to share with the press. I also write press releases which are sent to the local press.
