About me

As a recent graduate in a Fine Art degree I have a willingness to learn and to contribute and have experience in various cultural events, I have a Passion to eventually work within Art education but i belive i order to do it well I must gain rich, indepth experience in the world around it.

Gaining experience with Sue Jones the project director made me thoroughly aware of different aspects of organisation of artistic and public events, in my 8 weeks I participated in finding exhibition spaces, promotion and working closely with the local school. I also built a close relationship with many artists participating in live performances. In addition to the skills gained on my degree course, I developed commercial awareness and technical skills which I have been able to use outside of the university. By building relationships with the staff who are experienced artists and writers I have been able to work with them in various tasks also observing their professional practice.

Managing a part time job in a demanding industry and a degree alongside have provided me with time management and organisational skills, I learnt to represent a company and team yet progress in my own practice. I want to continue in the creative field because of my personal interests and drive to progress.
