About me

Hi there. My name is Kirsten and I am a conceptual copywriter. In other words, I am an artist who can't draw or paint. So instead of easels and canvases or Illustrator and Adobe, I paint with words instead.

Much to the surprise of many people (and some consolation to my parents), I never planned on becoming a writer. In fact, I always wanted to own an ice cream truck. I dreamt of travelling around the countryside bringing joy to everyone along the way. I imagined parking down by the beach eating my profits as the sun set on another glorious day. This was long before I moved to the UK where the sun doesn't so much set as it does wither away after hours of persistent rain.

So I finished school, prepared to get my ice cream career underway, and took one look at the price of an ice cream truck and decided to become a writer instead. I traded ice cream cones for classic literature, took a job as a copywriting intern after completing a Degree in English, and the rest (as the saying goes) is history.
