Kiran's work

About Kiran

I have always had a long standing passion for photography, which began in 1995 with very accomplished advertising photographer in India Mr. Vishlesh Deshmukh. The role was very comprehensive which allowed me to witness the wide range of tasks that takes place both in front and behind the camera. My time there was very instructive and I enjoyed myself thoroughly learning how a photographic studio operates from the bottom upwards from studio flash lights, continues lights, medium format cameras, and digital cameras.I had the privilege of working for Vishlesh where I learnt so much more about the industry. The role definitely fostered the interest I had in photography and confirmed without doubt that I would like my future career to be in Photography. This role built upon and developed the skills I had already learnt from Vishlesh through formal training in Diploma in Image Manipulation, Digital Photo Imaging and Pixel Based Image Manipulation from London College of Communication. I also completed my formal assistant training from Direct Lighting. With over 13 years of experience in photography and having worked on varied projects from fashion, people, portrait, still life, product, food as well as hands on experience with all the possible equipments from medium format cameras, digital cameras, digitals backs, studio flash as well as continuous lighting, I believe I have all the possible knowledge, experience, tricks and trades of the business. Since 2006 I have been working as freelance photographer in London and have worked for Advertising agencies for clients like, Hellmannâ€(TM)s, Imperial war museum etc which were nominated for DnAD award and campaign poster award etc, Printed in Communication Arts. The role advertised, I feel would allow me to continue to build on my knowledge to allow me to become a better, more skilled.
