About me

I have always been creative and had too many interests for my own good which made it really difficult to find what I wanted to do. At 23, I followed a drawing tutorial on YouTube and haven't lost my interest since. I was born in Durban, then moved to Pietermaritzburg with my family and currently live in Hilton. I studied Linguistics and English Language and Literature then came home to start my first job. During this time, I started a private Instagram account to collect my art that I was creating. I eventually made my account public and it now has over 200 followers.

When people look at my art, I hope they experience serenity, joy and a sense of freedom. I'm mostly inspired by nature, experiences, movies and people. I have always felt everything deeply and creating my art is a way to channel my emotions; it's healing and energizing at the same time. I like to use different mediums but find that I often use graphite, ink, acrylic paint and coloured pencils.
