About me

My name is Kimberley Daanje and I am a creative designer based in Veendam, Groningen (The Netherlands). My passion for graphic design has gained me my bachelor's degree in Multimedia & Communication (Concepting & Design) at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen after successfully developing a digital interactive prototype application during my graduation period using the tools Axure and Adobe Creative Cloud after performing extensive research.
Throughout the years I have worked on various creative projects which makes me quite comfortable working with different creative disciplines (online and offline media) and various design styles. I also do not shy away from challenges that fall outside of my comfort zone; during my third year at university, I studied in London for a semester and gained experience in journalism and TV production at Middlesex University.

At present I have found myself in the e-commerce sphere where I focus on (SEO) content writing, branding, and managing UX/UI projects in order to give users an excellent online shopping experience. Aside from that, I am in charge of delivering both online and offline media as a way for a webshop to communicate with its customers through brochures, newsletters, social media posts etc.

What I wish to achieve, both personally and career-wise, is simply to improve and thrive creatively. Currently, I am looking for a new adventure where I can employ my skills to tackle challenging briefings and deliver quality and well thought out results.
