ABOUT
Terrain approached Kilograph for a rebrand that better reflected who they are today: an architecture studio known not just for strong thinking, but for how much they enjoy the process of getting there. The goal was to create an identity that felt intelligent and structured, while also warm, collaborative, and distinctly human. The result is a system that balances rigor with creativity. Confident without being overly polished. Clever without trying too hard.
The identity expresses structured creativity through clarity, warmth, and momentum. Clean frameworks create confidence, while color and composition introduce energy and approachability.
At the center, the logo balances softness and precision, reflecting the belief that architecture is both human and solutions-driven. Its curves suggest optimism and collaboration, while its refined geometry signals clarity and discipline. Designed to feel collective rather than singular, it anchors a system that is intelligent, expressive, and assured.
Color
The color palette moves between stability and energy, mirroring Terrain’s approach: thoughtful frameworks paired with curiosity, warmth, and momentum. It’s a palette that feels alive, optimistic, and approachable, with a quiet confidence.
Typography
A clean, contemporary sans serif with just enough character to leave an impression was selected to reinforce Terrain’s clarity of thought while maintaining warmth and personality. The typography supports the work rather than competing with it, creating a confident, modern foundation that feels both professional and approachable.
A website was also completed, designed with a more structured, minimal approach that allows Terrain’s work to take center stage. Ample use of photography showcases projects clearly and confidently, while the layout provides breathing room and focus. The experience is intentional and calm, emphasizing clarity, ease of navigation, and thoughtful pacing. It reflects Terrain’s process-driven mindset and reinforces the idea that strong ideas do not need excess to stand out.
