About me

I have come up with initial concepts and follow them through to further development and finished product, being involved with contacting manufacturers and tool makers to get pricing and quotes. This shows that I can see a project through to the end.

While I have been working on a placement I have also taken on work on a freelance basis, I had to be flexible with a can-do attitude as I had to complete both sets of work to deadlines, and every so often I would get handed some work to do with in a few hours.

I am a Mac person, I have been using Macs for around 4 years now using a diverse range of applications such as the adobe creative suit CS3/4/5 including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver.
I also have 3D CAD skills on Maya, Solidworks and Inventor using the Maya through university gave me a strong base to learn how to use the latter two programs. and its my belief that because of this foundation that I could turn my hand to any 3D CAD program, I would just need some time to get to know the new interface.

I have worked in a studio since leaving uni as well as working as an in-house designer with my most recent employer. I can work in a studio environment as much as by self managing my own time and allocating resources to the projects properly.
I hope I have the skills and experience required to be considered for this role of junior designer as I want to get out of the product design side of the industry as I have discovered I have more interest in working in graphics for print and web.

I would like to get the opportunity to develop my skills to allow me to create new interesting and potentially interactive projects to add to my portfolio as well as studio time to add to my experaince.

I am a hard working individual and i am looking for a long term career not another placement or short term job
