About me
From an early age, I have been fascinated by cartoon animation. My personal favourite animator whom I admire the most is Eric Goldberg who works at Walt Disney Animation Studios. For Disney, he is well known for animating the Genie in Aladdin (1992), directing the Rhapsody in Blue and The Carnival of the Animals, Finale segments in Fantasia 2000, supervising hand-drawn animation for Maui's tattoos in Moana (2016) and directing the animation for Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) for Warner Bros. Animation. Eric's spectacular artwork and animations inspire me to create cartoon characters of my own. My specialism is 2D animation using ToonBoom animation software. I like to work using digital and paper methods in my production pipeline. I enjoy exploring the principles of animation in everything I do, from creating a character turnaround with an appeal to the inbetweening of keyframes to create a dynamic performance.
When I am not animating, I like to relax through other creative outlets including drawing, painting, printmaking and lithographic printing. A regular part of my week would also involve working out at the gym or park running. At home, I like to unwind reading a good book and meeting up with my friends.
