Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to apply for the role of freelance sub-editor. I'm an experienced sub-editor with a wealth of experience on consumer titles, working for the likes of Telegraph Media Group, Time Inc, Bauer and Dennis Publishing. I'm used to seeing projects through from raw copy to layout on InDesign, meticulously fact checking, editing, sensitively rewriting and ensuring house style is followed and that deadlines are met. In my role I also have responsibility for reading final proofs and sending pages.

I'm also able to write sparkling copy, whether it's features, news, online or advertorial content. I'm currently freelance sub-editing for the Telegraph Media Group and am available from the middle/end of February.
