About me
Kevo Abbra is a self-taught Fashion stylist, Costume designer and a Prop master born and raised in Nairobi Kenya. His daily occupation revolves around creating, making and sourcing for items and fashion pieces for his creativity purposes in order to bring his creations to life and capture the stories that he wants the world to know about through his unique and distinct aesthetic style. His work has been recognized in the continent for the genre of AFROFUTURISM.
His projects have been featured on platform such as CNN, BBC, Vogue, Dezeen, Fubiz, Design Indaba, Afropunk, We Transfer just to name a few.
His passion has seen him work on several projects collaborating with an impressive list of national and international artists from different field e.g photographers from the likes of Osborne Macharia, Joey L. , Fabrice Monteiro, Yonas Tadesse , Thandiwe Muriu , Mutua Matheka , Joe Makeni. Designers like Katungulu Mwendwa , Laduma of MAXHOSA , Rina of Richfactory , Fiona kay , Sandstorm bag , Le Kasri Kenya , Yefikir , Paradise fashion and Zaaf from Ethiopia. Directors like Sunu Gonera_SA, Andrew Mageto_KE, Nicole Maria Ackerman_USA, Tosh Gitonga_KE in creating visual projects on both personal and commercial projects.
