About me

My current position is "Head of Design" at Texthelp. I am an expert in many design disciplines. With my team, on a daily basis I work tirelessly creating new, accessible user experiences, engaging promotional videos or animations, responsive email marketing assets and social comms. As the brand creator, I am Brand Champion and hold the consistency of the brand dear to my heart. My work involves extensive planning, wireframes, quality procedures, teamwork and constant improvement in my skills. In the past I have managed small teams and I mentor others and encourage learning through professional development. I am very 'hands-on' and I love both doing and work delegation.

From a technical standpoint, I am a master in Adobe XD, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, InVision, animation, video editing/encoding and responsive HTML/CSS. I am also capable using Javascript when creating web designs. I use Google Apps daily. I am an expert in design for print and have a full understanding of all processes.

I work late nights and weekends. I am completely committed to my job and I strive everyday trying to make our communications truly engaging. I am a natural problem solver. The products I have designed have millions of users and having helped create successful products such as Read&Write, Equatio and Fluency Tutor, my hopes for the future are to work on bigger projects and solve more complex problems.
