About me

Dear Sir/Madam

I am currently in the penultimate year of a BA(Hons) Interior Design, at Liverpool John Moores University. After researching what is required of employees within a design firm I feel I have the skills and the abilities to enable me to be a valuable contribution to such a firm.

As you can see from my CV I have project managed small scale home improvements for friends and family, my current project is the complete refurbishment of my parents house, which has seen me dealing with contractors and suppliers of a larger scale. My experience working as a design assistant for ITV tested my problem solving skills as if a problem arose within the room which I was allocated to, it had to be dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently due to the strict time limits of the show or it could but the whole show in jeopardy. I feel I work well as a team, as within my role as a supervisor I have to work together with the other supervisors, as well as delegating to the staff in more of a leading role. I have great presentation skills due to being part of a performance poetry group, which performed to large groups of people.

I am a hardworking individual with a passion for interiors and design, and I would relish the opportunity to be part of a company who shares this passion.
