About me

I am a digital / integrated creative director with diverse, all-round skills and expertise. I design and produce everything from apps to advertising and editorial content, covering all areas (UX/I, prototyping, motion graphics, animation, shoot direction, infographics, and prints) for the entire project lifecycle from initial ideation and conceptualisation through to design, production and final delivery.

While I have a strong Fine Art/Conceptual Art background, I am also a techie who is passionate about maths and coding. This blend of contrasting skills forms the base of my unique creativity.

I am also an inspirational team leader with solid people management experiences. I have managed teams of various sizes, up to 25 designers and developers, nurturing and mentoring them throughout my career.

For the past 7+ years I have been Commercial Creative Director for two of the UK's largest news publishers, Telegraph Media Group and Reach Plc/Trinity Mirror, creating sponsored editorial content that tells a story for a plethora of top-tier brands.

The clients I work for are household names from across diverse industry verticals, such as financial (Big Four banks, Invesco Perpetual, Royal London, Standard Life Investments), electronics (Philips, Samsung, Sony), automotive (Bentley, BMW, Maserati, MG Motors, Subaru, Volvo), telecommunication (Vodafone, O2), fashion (Selfridges, Fenwick), FMCG (Philadelphia, Kenco), retail (Big Four supermarkets, Aldi, Boots, IKEA, M&S, Waitrose), film & TV (eOne, Disney, Sony Pictures, Studio Canal, UKTV, Universal, Warner Bros), charity (Alzheimer's Research UK, Cancer Research UK), travel (Tui, Cunard, Various National Tourist Boards), pets (Royal Canin, Butcher's), B2B (Boeing, Brother, HP), and the Government (Covid, Brexit, NHS) to name but a few.

As well as looking after the campaign executions, my another important remit is to help bringing in new businesses with ideations and pitch creative designs. I work with sales teams closely and I am very pleased that I contributed hugely towards many competitive pitch wins that lead to award-winning campaigns.

Prior to my roles as creative director at news publishers, my career had been in the world of digital innovations. I have been very fortunate to have worked on concepts and designs for digital platforms when they were in their infancy, including web-apps, multimedia e-learning, experiential digital signage/installations, touchscreen kiosks, mobile apps, and connected TV apps, for clients such as BBC, CBS Showtime, Ford Motors, DMGT, National Express, Paddy Power, PGA, United Nations, and Vodafone, as well as notable individuals such as sculptor Sir Antony Gormley and prominent human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger.
