About me

I am currently working as a Graphic Designer within the marketing department of Jacobs Babtie on Bothwell Street, Glasgow. Within this role I am responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Corporate Identity through the design of internal and external publications, marketing materials, exhibition stands and advertisements. I am also called upon to design and produce materials for third party clients, both in the public and private sectors. I project managed the majority of the projects I am involved with and I'm responsible for jobs from concept to production. This is a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and a heavy workload.

I have recently completed a major re-branding project for 49 UK and 16 international offices for which I was solely responsible for the correct implementation of the corporate identity. I am also currently running Adobe CS2 training workshops for several members of our team.

I have excellent communication and client facing skills as well as thorough knowledge of the art working and the printing process having worked for a busy colour printers and an established design agency for three and a half years. Through my agency experience I have worked on a vast range of projects for clients within the public and private sectors.

I am technically proficient in all Graphics packages on both Mac and PC platforms and PC platforms and have some experience of working with web graphics.
