Hi!

My name is Kelsey Foster and I am a blogger/writer/editor/photographer/recipe creator/stylist/healthy nut/stylist who just earned my master's degree in communication at Virginia Tech.

Here are a few of my qualifications:

Through work for a local lifestyle magazine, a specialized college magazine, and personal lifestyle blog, I have developed myriad skillsets that will be of value to your current team. I have experience crafting unique, fashion-oriented content to increase public interest and build on established relationships and in successfully promoting that content across a multitude of platforms. I also have extensive experience writing and editing content for the web, including headline creation, while adhering to a style guide.

In addition, I strategically utilize online and virtual communication platforms such as social media, blogs, and videos to reach, connect, and engage with publics. I have proven experience effectively promoting my lifestyle blog's messages and personal brand via social media and increasing user following across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat. I've also partnered with top brands such as Zappos and PopSugar to promote select products while also staying true to my own brand and paying close attention to my public's wants and needs. And as a lifestyle blogger, I've stayed ahead of social media trends to increase content impact and more effectively engage with my publics. I am constantly trying new strategies as social media adapts and changes rapidly and use SEO strategies and Google Analytics to increase impact.

Successfully working as a lifestyle blog owner, magazine writer and editor, university graduate student mentor, and graduate student simultaneously over the past few years has taught me invaluable time management and multi-tasking skills that allow me to perform all of my duties quickly, fully, and exceptionally. Moreover, I've developed excellent interpersonal communication abilities that enable me to effectively lead, manage, support, and motivate teams of varying experience levels.

My husband and I recently moved from the United States to the London area so that he can pursue his higher education goals this summer, and I am so excited for all of the new opportunities in store for us.
