About me

I have just completed my BA (HONS) Degree in Graphic Media in June, and eager to get straight into a career within design, working for a company I have a strong love and passion for. I have been studying within the field of Graphic Design now for 4 years. Starting with my Foundation Studies in Art and Design at Colchester Institute and continuing my studies there doing my BA (HONS) Degree in Graphic Media. I have a strong interest into illustration, and during my time studying Ive been developing my illustrative skills, both through computer aided illustration by using my skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign. Despite this being my main field of work I am eager to be working within any creative role, as this will allow me to continue to learn and to use my artistic talents in a more hands on and productive manner. While studying I have a part time job working for Procter and Gamble, as a Fine Fragrance Consultant at Debenhams Colchester. This has allowed me to attend conferences throughout the year to study the fashion, history, advertising, photography and meaning behind the fashion houses Gucci, Dolce and Gabanna, Hugo Boss, Ghost, Anna Sui and Lacoste. While working here I have also had experience within working with in store promotions and have a full understanding of marketing, from the design and asspect and how it works with people. Though this is a part time job I have been working there for almost 3 years now and it has been a great influence for my future career, as I am open to new ideas and challenges.
