About me

I am currently finishing my third year at The University of Salford studying BA (hons) Design Studies. I feel that I am a strong candidate and I am eager to begin work. I am familiar with various software including Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Quark Xpress Passport, Director MX, and I am currently developing my skills in Dreamweaver MX and Adobe InDesign. I am capable of working in teams, in a recent project I was appointed Project Manager. The team received a 2:1.

I have never missed a deadline for any projects as I know how important this element is in the industry.

I am an imaginative person and enjoy brainstorming new ideas and developing concepts.

I am flexible with hours and am willing to work late nights when needed.

In my current work, I am creating a design magazine. The magazine will offer a section where students/ young designers work will be presented. There will also be a website where readers can register and present their work, successful candidates will feature in the magazine. There will be other sections for example, an existing product section where featured designers will give their views on new products. The project will created using most of the software listed above. My predicted grade and degree mark is a 2:1.

I am highly interested in print/promotional design such as magazine/brochure layouts/logo's/business cards/flyers.
