About me

I am a 21 year old female currently working as a visual merchandiser with Debenhams my job role consists of following window formats to ensure the window is implemented correctly and the window is of a high standard. Also to support the floor team with customer visuals which includes the layout of fixtures within a mat and the focal areas, also any promotions running, to ensure price points are clearly highlighted with promotional collateral, so the mat looks strong to increase the (ATV) sales.

I am looking at pursing a career outside of Debenhams but still within the creative field.

I have studied a 2 year display course which involved window dressing, creating a window to a theme or object and creating a large prop, and also merchandising related objects to reflect the theme of the window.

I would really like to stay in retail and in the same area as I find it very rewarding and I really enjoy it but I would like a fresh challenge to enable me to gain more experience. I have 3 years experience in the visual merchandising field, which half of this was at their flagship store in Oxford Street, London. Although young, I bring experience and enthusiasm to the role. This includes supervisory experience.
