To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to Impact Creative due to my interest in the advertised Digital Assistant role.

I am a highly motivated, passionate individual, with experience in the music industry and a hunger to learn and develop my skills. My experience at Beat100, a music and social networking website, has allowed me to interact and network with music professionals, enhance my diary management and organisation, and develop my social media and advertising knowledge. I booked and attended meetings with significant companies such as, Kobalt Publishing, Pledge Music and Gibson.

Other notable roles at BEAT100 included writing blogs and press releases, where it would be my responsibility to use Photoshop to enhance the article, upload the document to the website and blog sites, and ensure it was correctly tagged for search engines. It was essential for me to be competent and experienced when using data analysis platforms, specifically Google Analytics.

Working as an event manager and hostess in the promotional events industry over the past two years has helped me to develop my ability to lead and work within a team, to organise myself and others in order to make an event operate smoothly, and to work in high pressure environments. I have worked at music events, such as British Summertime Festival, where I hosted the VIP Barclaycard lounge and thoroughly enjoyed being submerged in such an environment.

Finally, I have been independently working within the music industry for the past 3 years by booking myself live shows and venues such as, The Bedford and The Hospital Club, in London. I have also booked myself into co-writing and recording sessions with songwriters and producers, and have gained a wide knowledge of social media due to promoting myself successfully on several platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. I manage my own website, which has been built on Wordpress, therefore I am experienced with using this platform.

Overall, I am an enthusiastic and reliable candidate and, if selected, I would dedicate myself to maintaining a positive and hard-working attitude when faced with any task.
