About me
Having worked in many industries communicating to colleagues across the world, I have led large change projects working directly with company leaders and directors. I have been responsible for very large budgets and managed teams that report directly to me.
I have the ability to communicate complex information into manageable information using a suite of communications channels available to me. I choose the most appropriate channel according to the audience demographics.
I have conducted employee surveys and used results to improve communication channels.
I believe in clear and consistent communication with deadlines in place to ensure consistency. I have led on tone of voice initiatives, improving the clarity around what the company tone of voice is.
My most recent role involved producing a weekly newsletter that was sent globally to 250, 000 people. I improved the readership and open rates significantly and routinely had to edit, cut back and schedule stories as it became prestigious to appear in the publication. I initiated an editorial calendar and introduced a weekly editorial meeting using Microsoft teams. I was also responsible for managing the digital content on the global intranet, using complex content management systems. I also provided engaging content for the external 'our stories' page.
