About me

Hello,

I am a London based freelance illustrator and designer and I would like to apply for the junior illustrator role you have open. Due to the unpredictable nature of freelance work I am now looking for a more stability in a full time position and feel that the position would really suit my skill set.

I have strong creative and making skills and generally think with my hands but also have a keen interest in design. I have recently designed a 'build it yourself' pinhole camera kit which is to be manufactured and sold by Singapore based Red Army Camera due to be released mid-2012. I have also designed a 35mm pinhole version of my 'Pinhole Hasselblad' which is available for download on my website (*).

On top of creative and design skills I also have a strong understanding and appreciation of the role that good time and project management plays in getting an initial idea to its final stages. I am very aware that planning and good organisation is the backbone of creating great products alongside creative ability.

If I were employed in this position I could bring fresh creative ideas and develop innovative products for the company whilst working within any established visual language that may exist.
