About me
Working as a Design and Marketing Executive in a small team providing an in-house design and marketing service at the head office for an established four star hotel and inn group. Managing projects from initial ideas stage to implementation, ensuring the company principles are communicated along with the brand guidelines. One of my design responsibilities is the annual Christmas party nights and Christmas breaks brochures - a project such as this involves the concept research and development, setting the layout design, copy writing, collating information from each site, providing print-ready artwork, supplying web-friendly versions and controlling the release date and distribution.
Other aspects of my role include:
- Liaising with a range of stakeholders - colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
- Managing the production of corporate print and marketing on a variety of materials - all of which are designed in-house - researching, designing, setting artwork on Macs and sending print-ready artwork to external suppliers
- Writing and proof-reading copy
- Placing adverts in the press and specialist publications
- Liaising with external suppliers and managing relationships with Account Managers - sourcing materials, quotes and ordering
