About me

Most copywriters fall into one of two camps: a conceptual writer or a body copy writer. I am both. I started out writing lots of the black stuff until was lucky enough to join a strong creative agency where I honed my skills as an ideas person. Which I suppose means I'm value for money. Also in a past life I was an Account Director, so I get clients. I get strategy, I get sales; the whole story. Which makes me easy to get along with. I'm good at extracting briefs from bits of paper that are half thought through. And you can wheel me in front of clients. Most of all I enjoy working in a team with an Art Director who knows their stuff and love coming up with work that's fresh, and carefully considered. I also get a lot of pleasure from working with creatives who are new to the industry. It's enormously satisfying to take a raw idea with potential and help shape it into something that will work. The great thing about our industry is there's always room for something new and different.
