About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you in response to the 'Graphic Designer - SMP, Tunbridge Wells' job advertisement placed on the *.
I have been employed as a graphic designer for 5 ½ years since completing my higher education (attaining both a HND and a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia), working with a large range of clients and projects from extensive database-driven website for International charities, to print projects for local, national and International businesses.
I enjoy every part of the design and development process from the initial client liaison to branding, planning business and marketing strategies and research, right through to taking a project live and beyond.
I love working as part of a team to get the best possible result for every client.
I am hard working, very creative, love a challenge, and can work well under pressure.
I am fluent in using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign), can hand-code HTML and CSS, and understand how websites and print projects need to be designed and developed in order to make the most out of them.
On top of this, I have experience in running a business as I am a director of online toy retailer Treasure Island Toys (*), which was nominated for 'Online Toy Retailer of the Year 2009' against Amazon, Argos, Littlewoods Direct and the Entertainer.
This experience has given me a broad range of skills from customer and B2B communication, prioritising tasks, scheduling, stock/order management, marketing, social networking for a business and much more.
I am focused, highly sociable, enjoy working as part of a team, and am very passionate about design, art, music and business.
I am ready to take my career to the next stage and I firmly believe that I would be an invaluable asset to your business and team, and would love to have such an opportunity.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Kavan
