About me
Katy Gorniak is a Creative Director and visual storyteller working across fashion, culture, and human connection. Her practice explores love, intimacy, identity, and presence - how relationships are formed, held, and seen across different bodies, dynamics, and expressions.
Her work moves fluidly between fashion, art, and brand worlds, blending editorial precision with emotional depth. Katy is drawn to narratives that feel lived-in rather than staged, where diversity is not an aesthetic choice but a lived reality. She creates visual languages that honour softness, tension, and authenticity in equal measure.
In 2024, she presented her first solo exhibition in London, Connection, a body of work centred on couples, love, and deep relational bonds. The exhibition explored intimacy across diverse relationships - focusing on closeness, vulnerability, and the quiet power of being seen by another.
Across disciplines, Katy's approach remains consistent: to create work that invites presence over performance, representation without spectacle, and beauty that feels honest. She believes the most compelling stories are the ones that make space - for complexity, for difference, and for real connection.
