About me

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher with over twelve years teaching experience. I currently teach on the UAL level 3 diplomas in creative media production and technology with a specialism in animation. I work with a wide range of learners from varying backgrounds and abilities.

Teaching in FE is a job I love. I revel in working with students and seeing them come through the door unsure, nervous and in some cases with bad experiences of education, then watching them leave with prospects, skills and confidence in their own ability. Being part of this journey is a privilege.

I use engaging and motivating tasks in my lessons and encourage learners to problem solve and work independently, allowing them to develop employability skills.

I am also an associate lecturer on the HNC and HND in Motion Graphics and Animation at UCEN Manchester.

Along side my teaching I have achieved a Level 2 Award in British Sign Language.
