Please accept my resume as my application for the retoucher position.

I am excited for a new opportunity to push my creativity and take on more responsibility.

I am a creative, energetic, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a photographic environment. I have 6 years' experience as a photo retoucher and photographer. Which has included a large range of clients including plenty for fashion, modelling and beauty which are in fact the photo shoots I enjoy the most and have the most fun with in the editing process.

I carry out all of my own post production editing and image management along with running the photographic studio. I am proficient in the use of various software packages including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, RAW file conversion and I have a strong understanding of colour correction, skin retouching and making files print ready.

Working in a fast paced environment has meant that I have gained strong managerial experience and ability to drive the business forward. I cope well in high stress situations and can manage a variety of projects simultaneously including high post production editing. Along with my studio work I specialise in event and location photography, supplying commercial photography for press releases, websites and magazines so I am used to meeting tight deadlines with high quality being maintained. My work has been credited and published in magazines such as Tatler and Diplomat.

I feel that I am the perfect person for the job because I am highly organized, efficient and have an excellent eye for detail. I am a people person and am extremely easy to get along with. I love meeting new people on a day to day basis.

I am confident that I have the skills necessary to succeed in this position and am eager for this next step.
