About me

I am a Fashion graduate with creative flair and commercial drive. I have a 2:1 BA HONS degree in Fashion & Textile Design with Business studies, from The University of Brighton. I also hold a Distinction at National Diploma Level in Art & Design Studies from London College of Fashion. I have experience working for Womenswear label Jonathan Saunders, Textile Studio Tom Cody and Casual Wear Brand American Eagle Outfitters in New York, as a Design Intern. Through all of the latter I have gained knowledge & experience in all areas of the design development cycle, from concept to production; including market & trend research, concept development, design, sampling, fitting, product range selection & approval. I am computer literate in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign Web PDM & Microsoft Office. I have strong drawing capabilities and an interest & skills in illustration and Textile Design, specifically Fashion Print. I have strong technical & creative skills in fashion & textile design, including pattern cutting, garment construction CAD, screen & artwork preparation & fabric treatment. I have strong presentation, communication and English language skills. I am a team player & self motivated individual. As well as proven organisation skills within the design industry, I have basic accounting skills as well as office, admin, and event management experience, ensuring efficient time-management skills and the ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.
